Important Note: The Operator Certification Program will not be accepting new applications for certification, upgrade or reciprocal applications until further notice due to budget reductions. Operator Certification WILL renew Operator licenses and WILL accept renewal applications at this time.
Applications for Post-Presentation Credit will only be accepted for operators with licenses that expire on 12/31/2009 due to budget reductions. Post presentation applications for all other operators will not be accepted.

How do I prepare for initial certification exams? You may discover that many of the courses approved by DEP for continuing education can help prepare you to get certified for the first time. Search the course catalog at the
EarthWise Academy for available classroom and Web-based courses. We suggest that you contact the Training Provider directly for a comprehensive list of pre-certification course offerings.
How do I schedule an exam?
All written and on-line exams are cancelled until further notice.
What are the continuing education requirements for certified operators? Here are the current
continuing education requirements. You must meet the continuing education requirements established for your license class and your 3-year renewal cycle.
Where do I go to view my continuing education hours on record with DEP? EarthWise Academy records the continuing education training courses that you have taken since October 2002. Simply login, using your DEP client ID number, to view your "official" transcript. The number of continuing education contact hours recorded here is the total used by DEP to process the renewal of your certificate.
Where do I find the continuing education courses that are approved by DEP? EarthWise Academy has information on all of the courses approved by DEP to help you meet the continuing education requirements for certified operators. You will also find that many of the approved courses can help prepare you to get certified for the first time. Search the
